Climbing
Climbing is an intensive experience.
The number of adults and children are increasing. The challenge outside, on real rock is totally different then on an indoor climbing wall.
Both adults and children are fascinated by the technique of climbing.
During the courses, the mountain professionals make sure that fun and learning go hand in hand.
Introduction course climbing
During this morning, the children (but also the parents) get to know the first moves of climbing and down-roping.
From very easy to challenging; everything is possible.

Climbing for advanced
During the day, we will practise climbing- and securing techniques as well as self-controlled down-roping.
This course takes place in the climbing garden at the Hofpürgel hut.
Here, we find over 200 routes in all kind of difficulties.

Private lessons
No matter if you are a beginner or if you have a long year experience of climbing; with the guides from Filzmoos Aktiv it's going to be a personal challenge.
Costs up to 2 persons:
1 hour: € 50,-

Each extra person/h: € 10,-
Bischofsmütze (2454m.)
Climb one of the most beautiful mountains of Filzmoos.
The Bischofsmütze is the highest and probably the most beautiful mountain of the Gosaukam mountain range. The rock is Dolomite limestone.
The "Große Bischofsmütze" is a popular climbing mountain and got a new cross in 2003.

Dachstein (2996 m.)
The Dachstein is probably the most legendary of the alpine peaks. For early peoples it was the magical home of their gods. Today it is a place of energy and inspiration.

Klettersteige
Climbing along a steel wire, which gives you the highest possible security. We climb the most beautiful Klettersteige in the Dachstein mountain range or Hochkönig.
"Johann" on High Dachstein
Tour:
To the start ca. 1,5 - 2 hours, then 900 meters along a steel wire (0,8 inch thick) up to the Dachstein Warte
(climbing ca. 2,5 - 3 hours).
Total ca. 6-7 hours.

Wall 600 meters high
Afterwards we take the cable car down to the valley.
